I'm using Jasc Animation Shop 3 that came with Paint Shop Pro 8 to make an animated gif. I used screenshots from a music video I like and ended up with a really nice animation, but it was too slow, slower than the video, because the frame rate was at 10/100. So I changed it from the default 10/100 on all the frames to 5/100. This made it almost perfect, so I saved it, and saved it as a gif. The preview thing when I saved it looked great, just the speed I had chosen, but when I open the animation outside of Animation Shop, like in internet explorer, it's back down to 10/100 and all slow. What's the deal? I've tried not optimizing it, taking all the optimization features off, I can't figure out why the frame-rate customization doesn't withstand saving.

If I save it as .mng, the Animation Shop format, it will maintain the 5/100 framerate if I open it back up in Animation Shop, and if I save it as .avi it saves at 5/100, but the animation is choppy and I worked too hard for choppy animation (plus I was wanting to use this for an avatar) Any suggestions?

The animation can be viewed at http://www.freewebs.com/brightrobot/ on the front page. The music video it came from is Showbread's "Mouth Like a Magazine" at http://www.acquastrada.com/ under "Work". Thanks to anyone who can help out.
