On a windows 2003 web server, I am trying to convert a basic disk to a dynamic disk. The problem is, it's disk 0 which has the boot partition and a further partition also (C drive and D drive).

When I click 'Convert to a dynamic drive', Windows asks me this before agreeing to convert:

'After you convert these disks to dynamic, you will not be able to start other installed operating systems from any volume on these disks. Are you sure you want to convert?'

Does anyone know if I agree and click on OK, will this wipe the data on the c or d drives and therefore wipe the operating systems and configuration files on d drive?

I'm not normally afraid to tinker but d drive has over 100 client sites on the server.

Any suggestions appreciated
