Ok, heres the deal. My mother started creating a site about two years ago, and she only got as far as the design which she did on publisher. Now, I am taking up the task of finishing this site in HTML/CSS/PHP, or whatever. But publisher saved it as a .pub file and when I tried to save it as a plain text it was a bunch of jargon.

I then tried to rename it to filename.htm, but it ended up as filename.htm.pub..

I cannot upload it to my host and I cannot get the HTML or whatever it used to make it. I am now looking for where Publisher pulls its materials from so I can use them on another version which I can make.

She wants this same look/design. Any suggestions or ideas?

Open the .pub version in publisher and the save it as HTML from the File menu. You'll need to do a great deal opf work cleaning up the result but you'll be half way home.

No, but the file you converted will tell you where those other files are located.

No, no html, nothing, just text.
