What does user-agent "Mediapartners-Google/2.1" mean?

That is the Google AdSense (http://slettes.dk/redirect_to/?url_name=https://www.google.com/adsense/) robot.

Okay...

So, when you actually follow the link above - http://www.google.com/bot.html (http://slettes.dk/redirect_to/?url_name=http://www.google.com/bot.html) - everything written there by Google, like: "Googlebot is Google's web-crawling robot.", is completely wrong?

Have a look at this AdSense page (http://slettes.dk/redirect_to/?url_name=https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=9717&topic=139) - second paragraph: "While our bot (starting with 'Mediapartners-Google')...".
