Dear friends I am working on a project that require me to demonstrate performance in terms of speed when writing a function in java script and java and applying it on an element in XML. I will be glad if someone can get back to me with a complex function in Java and the same function in Java script where one can notice the difference in terms of speed when running it.

Thanks

The two technologies should not be used in comparison. I think you misunderstand the point of these forums -- we are not here to do your work for you.

Not only is this asking for us to do work for you, I see no point in the test.

Java can never take the role of performing client side script work within a browser and the performance of either of the languages will be determined just as much by the browser and pc configuration than anything else.
