Hi there,
My exact specs are
IBM Thinkpad 600X
Type 2645-eu
Running Windows XP pro
I was doing everyday computer stuff, nothing spectacular. I turned off my laptop and then turned it on the next day and all of a sudden - no sound... not even a BEEP when you start it, or a warning BEEP if you unplug ut and it switches to battery.
I have no thumb volume control and all my audio setting are set to work and are at full blast. Not only are the speakers not working, but neither is the headphone jack. I tried reinstalling the driver for Crystal Semiconductors for the sound card from IBM but that didnt seen to work - i even did a system restore to the previous week - and that didnt work. PLEASE HELP!!!!
