How do I know what to charge & what are the recomrnded sizes? buntine 07-11-2005, 01:54 PM I will move this to the Business Matters forum. Charge whatever you want -- its your Web Site. If no interest is generated, lower your prices or rework your ideas. I would recommend you don't use Banners at all. They are terrible thing. The future of advertising on the WWW lies in text-based advertisments. Regards. vinoth 07-12-2005, 08:43 AM I have a website and I would like for others to be able to put up banners. How do I know what to charge & what are the recomrnded sizes? depends upon your traffic , you must charge depending on it. WD charges $1000 for advertsing , so it does not mean u can charge that money ( i hope you know ) charge according to traffic. buntine 07-12-2005, 10:47 PM so it does not mean u can charge that money ( i hope you know ) He can if he feels its fair. :p DaFonz 07-15-2005, 06:23 PM Why dont you try something with google adwords? From that, you can get a general idea of how many clickthroughs/impressions to can give to customers and go from there. NetNerd85 07-20-2005, 12:35 PM No. Not ads. No... javascript ads... man o man they have got to be stopped, they give javascript a bad name! JPnyc 07-20-2005, 03:31 PM Sorry to have to lock this thread, but believe it or not, for members of the same industry to discuss pricing is a felony, and we can't permit any illegality on the forums. webdeveloper.com
