I think I've got a good grasp on HTML and now I would like to get into Javascript. I know there is a plethora of good stuff online, but I'm also a bookworm because I can't always get online, like when I'm travelling. So I like books when a computer isn't handy. Any good Javascript books out there? Thanks in advance!

I found The Book of JavaScript by Thau very helpful at the novice level and easy to follow. A sample tutorial is available on-line at Webmonkey.

Beginning JavaScript by Paul Wilton is what I have on hand for a teaching guide.
