Hi,
Please review and give feedback on my first site which i designed for a family member.
As some background info it is selling flight/travel tights to improve circulation when travelling.
When I designed the site I used tables unforunately, I know now this is not the best way to do it! I will be redesigning the site soon to use CSS instead but constructive criticism on the layout, content and other aspects of the code will be greatly appreciated.

its ok, visually id add some left padding to get the pic off the border. id also center your links in the nav bar, and add some more colors maybe? like a header color... maybe?

Oops forgot the have a look at in firefox, strange it's centered and there is padding in IE. I'll try and fix it so it looks right in both browsers.
I think adding some colour would be a good idea, I think the whole site looks a bit plain too.
Is there anything i'm doing wrong with respect to attracting visitors to buying the tights?
Thanks for your comments
your borders would look better plain with out the emboss effect

Check it with 800x600. Horizontal Scroll to the max.
Hi -
Hate to say it, but IMHO it doesn't look very professional yet.
The slickest part is the photo - I can understand why you reused it!
How about creating a header or developing a logo for the product?
The lack of either is a bit detrimental.
Size and color charts are small - you don't need to link to prev. pg.
at the bottom - esp. with menu at the top. Have you played with
color combinations? Browsed through sites with similar products or
with designs that you liked?
It's not a bad start - check that hz. scroll, though.
In the future remember The Mantra:
"Design for Firefox; Tweak for I.E."
Good luck,
El

Hi,
Thanks for all your comments and advice. I've started to redesign the site based on what you said and also using CSS, so i'll check back here when it's done and see what you think.
Thanks again
