drop list like a table with 3 colums?

Is there a way to make a drop list like a table with 3 colums?

I DO NOT want to create a page with frames and have
the lower portion be a scrollable table.

INSTEAD I want to be able to 'browse' if you will, a
table within a dropdown list box.

Is there such an attribute that make the listbox act as
table with rows and colums?

I'm not that familiar with DHTML.
If you ever worked with PowerBuilder you would be familiar with the concept of a DataWindow.
While I'm not looking for a true DataWindow that has live access to the DB, I am looking for it's capabilities.

Have you seen a sample of what I'm looking for in DHTML?
