I was thinking of installing Linux on my computer, to get familiar with it just in case I might have to run a web server. The problem is that there's a lot of versions out there. I was wondering if someone could suggest a version or point me to a resource out there.
redhat is easy to find documentation on, id start w/that

Redhat is also discontinued. Personally I use Suse. I've tried a few others, but I find Suse to be much better and easier to use than the others I tried. I made a post or two on getting started with Suse to help out another member of this forum, but you too should find it helpful and quite time saving.
I'll just search it out and get the link.
