Hi,
I guess loads of people have asked you this in the past, but I have to do a website consisting of about 50 pages/ templates, I just need to do the HTML coding as all the backend is already done.
Any ideas?

How much do you charge? I charge on the grounds of who I have made the website for, what it has been made for, what had to be done, how long it took and how many changes were requested by the client. I also charge for setting up the website with whome the client wishes to have the website hosted with as well as charging for setting up the domain name.

What do you mean the Backend is already done? If your speaking of using a CMS and all you need to do is configure templates and add the text... What do you think it's worth? All the work is in the tweak of the template and copy and pasting of text is not a huge deal.
Now if you have to write every single page, so they all end with .html then your going to need to charge more. Because thats a lot more work than working with a site with a web interface and Database.
I can't/won't give ya a hard number because there are so many factors that play into your price. What is your time worth, what will your client pay, what is your work worth and so on...
Give us some more info and we'll see what can be done.

Thanks for your replies, I understand many factors are involved, but I'll try and give you somemore info, see if that helps.
I have abnout 3 months to do the site, the CMS is already done, but the front end need a total rehaul, something like this (http://http://www.extenza-eps.com/extenza/contentviewing/viewJournal.do?journalId=691) .
I will be using CSS for layout, and dreamweaver for the templates/ pages, which there will be about 50 intotal.
You can get a rough idea of my skills from my website (see sig) I have over 5 years commercial experience of building sites, I already have a full time job, so they need me more than I need them, if you see what I mean. So I'm prepared to push the price up.
Does this help?

Sorry to have to lock this thread, but believe it or not, for members of the same industry to discuss pricing is a felony, and we can't permit any illegality on the forums.
