single thread messageboard/more complex guestbook

hi, i'm looking for a particular type of ASP based message board for my site. I don't want a forum as there are multiple threads and is just too OTT. Guestbooks, however, usually don't offer options such as emoticons/IP bans etc. Does anyone know any good links or have code of their own?

dont have code at the moment but i was planning to make a cut down forum for my own use but not sure when i will get arround to it at the moment.
