dEar all ,

I have made a website www.medinbytes.com (http://www.medinbytes.com) which is for doctors and medical students, now i want to place related ,limited Ads on the website which could help us run our business, so plz can anyone guide me regarding the essentials of Internet Advertisement ......... I am a med student so i do not know much about this. I would be really thankful if anyone could guide me with googleAd Facility

Your best bet at this point is to place small, text-based advertisments on each page. Steer clear of popups and animated advertisments -- especially the former.

Make sure you go through a trusted supplier. Do some research. Google AdWords seems to work well. You will want detailed usage figures and statistics.

Also, register with the popular search engines and be sure your site is spider-friendly. this (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/?) is a pretty good resource of what that means. It's a forum where you can read and ask questions.

Definently go with Google Ad words. Yahoo has a similar program also.

The benifits are great, and you decide how much you need to spend. The results are positive.

Remember if you go with the search engines' adwords. You will have to Pay-Per-Click which isn't a bad thing it will actually get your site out in the public eye and plus you can budget how much you want to spend. For google info go to: http://www.google.com/ads/
