Hi, all

I was wondering if anybody had any experience with HWG online training courses. (http://www.hwg.org) There are a few topics that interest me but I thought I would ask you guys first. Thanks in advance.

I dont have any experience with them but they look decent, I was actually looking for a place where I could do some "refresher" and "touch up" type courses. Might have to ask around, lets hope someone else comes in that has used em...

My first post here!

When reviewing courses I would recommend making sure they are teaching the latest and greatest. The vendor we use was teaching HTML 4.0 with a HUGE emphasis on Netscape as a browser so I ditched them.

I've since found that the W3 consortium offers free tutorials and for a nominal fee you can earn your certification in HTML, CSS, XHTML & ASP. What better place to go than to the folks setting the standards?

Thank you all who took the time and post msgs. Thanks EveningStar, I think I can check out the w3c tutorials. The subjects I was interested in were web contracts and internet legal issues. I have read some articles on the internet but I would like to get more solid base.

EveningStar, whilst I agree that w3Schools offer very informative tutorials and certification programs, I feel its important to note that W3Schools is not affiliated with the W3C in any way other than the conformance of Web Standards.

W3Schools was founded, and is still managed, by Refsnes Data, a Norweigan company.

Regards.

Thank you for calling that to my attention. I assumed wrongly that it was. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed although appreciate that they are in conformance.
