Hi ppl.
I've learnt HTML and known it for quite a while although my CSS is 'shaky' but I'm working on it as well as starting to learn PHP and MySQL.

The problem is all books and websites used to learn HTML and CSS teach a function or code snippet and then move on to the next. W3Schools is a perfect example of this. But I'm starting to run out of ideas for things to do with it. There's no ... 'projects' or tasks or something. Does anyone know a decent site with these sort of things.

All ideas appreciated,

BonRouge

Here's what I do... I hang around places like this trying to fix people's problems.
In this way, you have a project - an aim, a goal. You get lots of good experience and maybe help some people along the way. If you don't find a good answer, someone else probably will. Then, you can compare your approach with theirs and learn.

I agree. Even if you have been using HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, mySQL etc for several years as I have there are plenty of opportunities to try some new code to help someone out and also plenty of other people's solutions to learn from.
