Does anyone know why the forums on this vbulletin board (except Feedback) is so wide in my web browsers? The message boxes are like twice as wide as my screen! I have to keep scrolling left and right to read the messages and find the Reply button! Very strange. And annoying. I use several other vbulletin boards and don't have this problem. hummm?

Have you asked yourself the following questions:
Is my window maximized?
Am i running a resolution of 800 x 600 or higher?

That might help - or maybe its your web explorer

Please do not take offence to these comments - it would be appreciated

I'm using 1024x768 on my PowerBook and 832xsomething on my 17" monitor at work. The Feedback forum displays fine...just the other forums are wwwiiiiddeeee. It happens with both IE 5 and Netscape 4.7. And I see no option in my preferences here to fix it. Other vbulletin boards I use (AcuraTL.com and RX8forum.com) work fine.

Come on, this is a board for web page design/coding....someone must know whats going on :)

Hi Jeff...

sometimes the responses (or questions) are s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d due to unedited code causing the natural formatting of the forum to not break the line properly (this can be remedied by the poster... but usually it isn't :( .

that's usually the reason for that.
are you saying that it's ALL of the threads are like this (or just the one's with code samples in them)?

;) k

Good catch khaki. That >appears< to be the problem...but I have not fully ruled out a conspiracy yet :) ....just odd that the threads I looked the past few days were "wide"...now the ones I look at (except my HTML thread) are not. Hummm...
