I recently replaced my hard drive and now when I reboot nothing comes up...no BIOS, no cursor...nothing.
I have tried putting the old hard drive back in and that didn't work either.
I switched out all the parts but the motherboard and processor(which were working fine when I began my project). I also recent the cmos on the motherboard. What else is there? Is it possible the motherboard burned up in this process?

Are you sure that you have the jumpers set correctly on both HD's?
Did you discharge your hands of static before you began?
Could you have accidently unpluged or jammed your CPU fan while getting to the HD; this is quite common.

Maybe in the past, but most mobo's today have a jumper to do this -- I've never had any problems with performing a reset

Very true; about the only way you could reset a bios on older systems (most of which had permanently attached batteries) was to physically short the battery; something I did NOT like to do. :)
There is one sure fire way to test the bios; if it's a newer system (after '98) the the system does not simply power off; you have to hold the power button for 4 seconds before a power off occurs. If the system still powers off after holding that button for 4 seconds it means the BIOS is still communicating/receiving communication from the hardware.
It's sounding to me that during removal of the old/installing the new you either jammed/ unplugged the CPU fan causing an almost instantanious heatdeath on powerup, or undischarged static on your hands discharged on your memory . I could be wrong as these are only educated guesses and I'm not physically working on the system.
Hope this is helpful.
