I have a computer running XP SP2 that is apparently pulling it's thumbnails previews from memory for my pics. When my camera rolls over on it's naming scheme XP uses the old pic in the preview. I have to refresh each thumbnail to get an accurate preview. This becomes a pain when you're talking hundreds of photos

Folder Options > View
Uncheck cashe thumbnails.

I looked through those options twice looking for something to that nature but apparently overlooked it twice. Thanks for the help.

That's a funny thing for XP to do... If you are going to look at pictures in thumbnail view, ya want to look at the actual Thumbnail and not an older one that isn't it.
Kinda confusing.

I thought that SP2 should kill it's stupid ptection rather than have 2 change regitry entries or buy Norton Ultilites

I've got a copy of it but I haven't installed it on my computer because even that will give me all this crud saying that I have to run this scan and have to do that. Blah Blah Blah Blah.....

JPG files are not suppoesed to be interactive! Is the server just reloading different copys of the same image?

SP2 should fix it wonder y it doesn't...
SP2 was mostly a 'security' and networking update in an attempt to patch the many holes is MS internet enabled software, about the only visible additions it made were the Security Center and changes to the Windows Firewall.
