Hi all i have Adobe Photoshop CS (8) i have one big image for the layout of my page, i then use guides to cut the image up, but when i do it manually i never get the segment sizes exactly right.

Is there a way with photoshop that can auto cut the image up following the guide lines?

or a quicker way to cut up the image?

Thanks

Sheldon

to cut up an image in PS you can use Image Canvas.. just set how many pixels and in which position by pressing the arrow

You can also hit CTRL+R to display the canvas rulers. This helps you to make exact slices.

well sheldon,

sometimes that might be real tricky and feeling it to so, heres what it is!
when you use the guides to cut your image up, you want to make sure you have the ruler visable in order to do it straight. if you do then somethin wrong with your hands and balance!
Greatness has spoken!
