Hi,
I have a client who was inquiring about moving his site over to GoDaddy.com ... he has a pretty basic site (no database or anything like that). Just wondering what experiences people have had.
Thanks!

Well, I've never heard of any problems, but I haven't heard anybody really brag about em' (except for the low cost of domain registration).
Is anybody else having problems displayingt he General forum? It is ALL funked up over here.

Go Daddy lacks alot of services that other providers offer, like, customer service!
They do not have a toll free number, so every call is long distance unless you live by them.
They charge you for any problem you call about.
And they're slow. Even the dedicated server I had.
Go somewhere else. I use Aplus.net and I love them, I have also heard good things about swishmail.

I have to disagree with cjc1055, I found there tech support/Customer Service most helpful and knowledgable.
Most Web hosts don't have even have a telephone number to call at all... Considering what Long Distance rates are on cell phones I can't see the issue there either.
HOwever I do understand that some are not able to make free calls with their cell phone so if anything more than emailing tech support is an issue I suggest finding a place that does offer toll free tech support
