Javascript to include in Adobe form

I am an accountant and therefore, as you can imagine, a TOTAL novice at this. I have designed a form in Adobe and want to include a signature(digital signature) that will then invoke a script to email a person, that this form has been signed. To add to this complication, I need to be able to choose what email address/person as it is not the same person each time that needs to know the form is signed. If it helps, I have a list box somewhere else on the form that has all the name choices, but no email addresses attached to them. Is this possible to do? If so, where do I go to find out how to write this script?
