My Directory

I am currently setting up a small personal directory type site with lots of content. I want to get as many pages uploaded indexed as possible and thats why I have kept the design pretty minimalist.

Looks a bit empty to me.... What's up with all the white space on the sides? And add a better title! :)

In fact, you could add the google ads in the white space instead of putting them at the top and bottom. Just a thought...

I had thought about that, but when I tried doing it the first time, it screwed up a little. Might be because I downloaded the template then edited it, might give that another try, because I can fit another 2 banners in without breaking google TOS.

Is this just for personal use, or is it being set up as a reference tool for others to use?

It's hard to figure out the "reason" for your directory, the categories covered are so broad. Also, there's no identifying information on the page - no source, title, etc.

If this is to be used as a reference tool for people besides yourself, you might add some sort of disclaimer/statement qualifying your research. Including some sources used to write these excerpts wouldn't be bad thing either.

Lastly, I'd look into azchong's suggestion about the ads. They detract from information's integrity, such as the links to Party Poker and Private Income.

The gray borders at the left and the right only fill the colomns half, both left and right.

Is this copyright free content? I picked a part of a sentence from your mesothelomia article (which is/was a high paying Overture keyword), searched for it in Google and found a couple of results showing the same content.

Some of the articles are free to use content, others are things taken from my own forums or written by myself.
