hi guys,

this is my first post on this site so be gentle !!

would love any feedback on the following site:

http://www.solocc.com (now launched)

we are planning to launch this week, so i really need to get as many of the bugs and stuff sorted asap - whew !

the site currently utilises a development payment server. i have never worked with multi-currency before so someone may see something i have missed with this.

cheers

Hi -
Really, really liked the layout, color scheme and simplicity of this site.
[The images were quick-loading, also.] Not sure what's 'vintage' about the products, but it's a good-looking design.

The only thing that bugged me was this -
Solo have contact...
Solo believe that cycling culture...
Solo take inspiration...

Kept thinking that it should be -
Solo has contact...
Solo believes that...
Solo: take inspiration...

Nice job,
El

thanks el,

i suppose because the client consists of a partnership, we have gone plural rather than singular ? (ha, english was my worst subject at school)

i will look into this however.

Hey, NZSolutions -

When I saw the description of your site, "vintage cycle wear store," I got a gross image of sweaty sneakers with a red dot price tag on them! I'm glad to see that it is a MUCH classier site than that!

I really like your design! ;) Your selection of colors really compliments the merchandise. I did notice that your layout is done with tables; CSS would probably be better.

Great Work & Good Luck!

thanks for the feedback. i take your point on css KDLA, admittedly i use only the basics eg. font formatting. i will be investigating it further for sure.
