I've tried google for resources on developing applications for cellular phones, but I haven't found much useful information. Does anyone know of any resources?
I just moved and am considering getting a cell phone instead of a land line. Preferably, it would be one that would allow me to develop Java apps for it. I don't have any definite plans, but I thought it might be a fun exercise to create one that would get the current latitude and longitude (on a GPS and web-enabled phone), and send that to my webserver encoded in the URL. Then I could create a database tracking my location and even (if I were to get ambitious) drawing a map of my travels.
