Popup Tooltip

Hi,

I want to be able to show a popup at a set point on the screen (say 10,100) when the page loads, and then have it disappear after about 3 seconds. For example, the page loads, this popup shows text about what a button does, then after 3 seconds the text will automatically disappear.

What I wanted was a script that would show the tooltip when the page loads and remove it about 3 seconds after it is whown.

i'm new to javascript and i'm trying to modify that script so that the tooltip will be center in the browser.

can anyone help me with that.

i'm trying to create a table of thumbnails and when your mouse goes over it i want the tooltip to be centered.
