Help with Status window messages, please.

Hi. i was wondering if the status window can be used with image coordinate maps? (the <map> tag) .

I try to use a message in the wstatus window for the links in the map, but it just doesn't work. Is there a way to do it?

And if there isn't, then is there a way to turn off the status window? Thank u very much.

I don't know why it isn't working for an image map - maybe it just doesn't. To blank the status bar you would have to set it to display nothing - i.e. window.status=" ";
