Sorta new to this so I shouldn't take it too seriously.
In general this is a fairly modern, cleancut, sharp looking site. The let-down in my opinion is the background - it sticks to the colourscheme well but makes it look a little bit...off. I can't explain it very well 'tho I'm sure someone will say womething similar in a better way. It's like having a sharp photo, putting it in a photo editor and using a blur function. It goes against the grain.

Other than that a generally well designed site. I particularly like the fact that (as far as I know) you haven't jus used someone else's forum (you could have got some sort of script for it I guess but if you have it's not showing). It links in with the colour scheme well and isn't just another Invision Power Board or PHPBB or whatever. The images are a little worrying but what ever interests you :p

Hmm..thanks for you design inputs..I'll consider then and see what I can do.

As far as the forums go, I did create them myself so it was pretty easy to incorporate them into the site :p and with the images, hehe ;)

Hi mg8 -
I like the look of your site - especially the look of one background inset within another. The colors are great, too. :)
The only thing, design-wise, that bothered me: I don't think you need the vertical border separating the right-hand navigation from the content. White space can do that nicely. The additional line competes with the diagonal lines of the background. You might add about 5px of padding to the right of this same navigation section, just so it isn't flush with the border of your inset background.

FYI - the photos you used (of your computer) are really dark on my screen. You might try taking them near a source of daylight.

Good Luck & Good Work!

Thanks for the input. Funny thing is I wasn't sure whether or not to flush the right navigation against the border or not. I was bouncing back and forth for a few days, but after looking at both choices, I went with the border flush, but I think I will add the padding and see what it looks like again :)

Thanks again
