Not a Website

Well...I just started blogging about a week ago and even though it's not a website per-say...I'd still appreciate some critique.

However, if it is at all possible...I'd like a response this time...the last time I posted ( the first time I believe ) regarding another issue...never received an answer, and probably still hasn't...which explains why I haven't bothered to come back until now.

Now that I'm blogging...this site seems appropriate...but...I don't want to wait almost a year for a reply...if you know what I mean. ;) I'm sure you can appreciate that...after coming back 30 times to check for a reply...after the 20th it starts to get on your nerves...after 30...

As long as people answer...I'll keep coming back.

May I suggest that you add some text to your head image? It would maybe tell people what the page is mainly about. Maybe you could add your name, or whatever the page is about. If you are able to use css, I think it may be nice if you made your right side links a different format as your main links in the body of the document, and maybe place a border around the entire right column. Your backgound image, where it starts out blue, then fades to white, then starts instantly blue again, well I think that maybe you should make it fade back into blue instead of instantly turn blue.

I've been trying to add a Title over the image but I don't know how...only been actively doing this for about a week...and that's one thing I haven't been able to figure out...
I can add a title using <h1> etc...but it doesn't seem to work over the image...or maybe I'm just placing it wrong in the template.

I agree...problem is I haven't learnt how to do any of that yet...like I said, I haven't been at this very long...if you could walk me through it that would help.
