beunas,

take a look at century 21 marina trading post (http://www.century21costarica.net) any comments would be greatly appreciated. I'm a newbie, didn't actually design the site, just responsible for updates and changes. I'm using dreamweaver, which seems to be going ok. I'm mainly concerned with maximizing the layout/design of the site for the best index score possible. what can I change to make my site more google friendly?

thanks
spence

You may want to look at your site in Firefox. I didn't look at it in IE, but there are definite issues with things lining up in FF. The text version of "Playa Grande Estates" needs to be redone. It's way too pixelated. I you chouls remove that part really. Scrolling text needs to go to.

On to what you care about...

<p>&nbsp;</p>

and

<td>&nbsp;</td>

That is pure junk which adds zero to your site. You really want to use CSS to create the spacing you desire instead of pointless markup. This leads me to your table based design which is really dragging your Google ranking down.
