Okay can you guys rate my site for me i know i used tables (but to my defence im learning css so if possible i can convert my current site to css coding) the site has no real meaning just personall with some movies a couple of tutorials and a few downloads.

Overall I like the design. Here's a huge pet peeve though. You talk about having an article posted on a different site, but yet you don't provide no link to that site, or the article that they posted of yours. You are making your users work way more than they need to.

Could you use black text or at least a much darker shade, instead of the medium gray? Seen using my resolution settings and glare-guard on the monitor, the text appears really hazy. (Or, do I have glaucoma? :) )

Nice work on aligning everything, and working with your graphics to compliment that.

Only other thing I'd suggest is to make the rollover color for the top horizontal menu a bit brighter. It's a little too subtle.

[Oh - BTW - don't like the second site's layout. A little too discombobulated for me.]

Thanks for the tips guys, ill update the article you refer to spufi and ill bear in mind your comments in future. KDLA thanks for your advise i will be taking your tips into concideration when i recode my site using css.
