There's nothing like trying to learn how to swim just when you realise your boat is sinking....
I'm just an undergrad who likes to design blogs for fun. So I am familiar with html, but that's about it... I still look up tags and everything...
So I'm working for this prof who's developing an online course. I help out with the course content. Before I know it, the programmer has disappeared (literally, can't phone her, can't find her) and the course is half completed. Because I have basic knowledge of webby things, it makes me the most qualified person here to deal with it. We've paid the programmer all the money we could (we got a grant) and now we can't hire another one.
Flying by the seat of my pants, I have no idea what I'm doing. It's like a giant frustrating logic puzzle. I mean just yesterday I figured out how to create a new table with all the fields that I needed. Today's problem (in addition to one I've already posted) is how to point my pages to those tables.
*sigh*. That felt a little better.
