hi,
The company i work in blocked the stock market site (Uses flash for live feeds) & webmail sites (e.g.hotmail and gmail). I am trying to reflect these sites and make them viewable through my own site which is not blocked by my company's IT department (Hope i am making sense). I would use iframe but that would not do any good; is there any solution for this (To surf through my own site)?
Thanks

i am not shure if i understand you correctly, but i guess you are connected to your company lan and you cannot access certain web sites.. well, and iframe won't do any gud, you will either need something like cgi-proxy.. but i am pretty shure that if this is the case then you will be able to sove this by using an public proxy..
please expain what your case is:
-you are on the lan and you cannot access some sites wich are outside(but you can access your own site)?
-you want to put those sites " stock market site (Uses flash for live feeds) & webmail sites..." to be accessible by everyone who visits your site?
clarify this and i will be able to give you more details

Of course, the other question is, is it worth the risk? What is your company's policy regarding the bypassing of these restrictions? Could it result in job termination?

This is exactly what i want but i don't want to use a public proxy as that is too obvious when they check on the sites visited each month :p
Hi NogDog,
Of course, the other question is, is it worth the risk? What is your company's policy regarding the bypassing of these restrictions? Could it result in job termination?
It is worth the risk. I get much much "MUCH" more by stock than my normal salary, and besides, they won't terminate my service for doing this as they will only block my site if it came to it
Thanks for the replies and waiting for more
