pop up on SITE leave

Hello everyone,

I'm new to JAVA, so therefore will need a little more explanation possibly, than just the code.

I'm trying to make a pop up appear AFTER a site is left, instead of after a particular page of the site is navigated away from. Right now I can get it to pop up when they click on a differnet page of the site, or time it to come up, but if they are still navigating my site, I don't want it to pop up unitl they are finished with my site (ie. click the 'X', or type a different address in). Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Also be advised that a lot of people HATE that sort of thing, even to the point of disabling their JS to prevent pop-ups. Especially after I’m “done” looking at a site, I don’t want it “following” me around.

I find that if it is relevant, only pos up once, say, every week and doesn't spawn, people don't mind.
