Can someone tell me how to create a site with a format like www.yahoo.com. Expecially the div box which has to different colours which matches the borders.

I agree with Ray... View the source copy and past it into your editor, save the *.CSS files and play around with it.

I would also HIGHLY suggest reading the articles listed on this link below.

From there you'll be opening up a whole new world of development.
