I'm doing a custom leotard setup for a leotard company. The site allows users to click on different fabrics and see what their customized leotard will look like. The comapny uses a Yahoo Mechant Solutions Store to do all their sales, and would like to add the custom site to it. I'm running into some problems and I'd like some suggestions how to proceed. Yahoo uses custom Store Tags code to allow HTML pages to pull information from their catalog manager. The problem is, it only seems to work one way. I set up an option in the product for types of fabric and sizes, but the only way to the set those values is by letting the Store Tag pull all the info from the store. Yahoo tells me it's possible, but that they do not support custom coding of any kind, and so Im on my own. What has to happen is I need to set the option for whatever value it is (fabric A for example) when the button for displaying that fabric is clicked. I then need to be able to pick a number of quantities for different sizes (something Yahoo only supports inside their cart, meaning you can only add one item with one set of options, and only change the quantity from the cart once the item is added) and add them all to the cart at once. The yahoo support lady told me all this was possible and people have done it before, but for liability reasons (seriously what she said) she cannot tell me who or where. I've got some ideas. I thinking of grabbing the source from a page generated by the store tags, and plopping it in then making the changes I need. Im also thinking of setting a cookie and reading it into the cart some how. It'd be nice not to go into it completely blind. Have any of you done this or no anyone who has done something similar? Any point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot
