Help a Front End Designer! Please!

hi any helpful soul...

A site I am working on for a Science Recruitment company is

My problem is I have to find a backend programmer for the database, ASP side of things for it to work the way it currently does http://www.evolutionconsultants.co.uk

Please could someone help me by informing me as to what technology/languages that the backend developer in this case should know? I am front end with some knowledge of javascript, HTML, PHP but databases and login features scare me.

I would really appreciate any advice.

Hi Ray,

I would assume that the company already has a web server? You would need to find out what kind of server the company has and what type of server-side languages it supports. If it's Windows 2003 with ASP.NET and MS SQL then you would be stuck using those.

Well the 2nd site you referenced above uses ASP based on the filename extensions of .asp.
