Hi I'm a little new at web design and I just wondered.....

I have a small site that is only about 1 meg of space and I would like to post a second site with a different domain name. Can I use the same hosting space to post the second site?

And if I can't is there a feature I should be looking for in hosting companies that would allow me to buy a large chunk of space and split it into multiple sites with multiple domain names???

Thanks
JJ

Normally they are called reseller accounts, and are usually a bit more expensive than regular accounts...

You could try free web hosting. Up to 20 MB of space and 1 GB of band width for free with no banner adds and nopop up ads.

www.doteasy.com

Been using them for years now and haven't had any problems with them. Not the fastest, not phone support and not CGI or any extras but it's great for static sites and basic web storage. I have 3 sites through them.

If you go with them reference www.bobx3.com and I get a small (very small) kick back. Thanks. ;)

Other possible options are sub-domains (domain1.toplevel.com, domain2.toplevel.com etc.) which many hosts ofeer or domain redirection/pointing/masking that some hosts offer where they hold the domain tags but repoint all browsers at your actual site located on another domain.
