Well, after visiting, registering and posting at countless of webdev related forums - I must admit that webdeveloper.com still is one of my favorites, even though it was much easier to post to the forums prior to the last update (WYSIWYG editor does not work for me in Firefox - don't want to fire up MSIE *chills* just for that purpose).

I am especially appreciative for the very fast responses usually given here.
Seems to always be someone around with an answer ready. :)

You don't have to select the WYSIWYG editor if you don't want it. It's in the user cp options.

The problem only occurs on my Windows XP box with Firefox. Not only WYSIWYG, but everything javascript. It must have something to do with the Norton security system settings on the Windows PC. I have migrated now to browse Webdeveloper from my MacOS X box - works perfectly.

Enabling JavaScript In Internet Explorer

Go to Tools>Internet Options.

Click on the "Security" tab. Make sure that "Internet" is highlighted in the white area of the screen and then select "Default Level." (If that button is grayed out, you already have the default settings and JavaScript is enabled.)
Firefox is eazy 2 do

To enable scripting for all internet sites, highlight Defaults on the left, choose "Permit" in the Scripts section on the right. If you wish to only allow scripts for webdveloper/.com, click the button on the lower left to "Add Site". Enter www.webdeveloper.com in the dialogue and press Ok. Make sure www.webdeveloper.com is highlighted on the left and then uncheck "Use Default Settings" on the right and select "Permit" instead
