I don't know of one specific good book but good publishers include Wrox, Glasshaus and Peachpit Press. You really need to look at the books yourself to decide whether or not they'd suit you.

I have just read a new book called "No Nonsense XML Web Development with PHP". It is a new book from Sitepoint that appears to cover all aspects of XML and even develops a complete CMS to illustrate how it works.

I know this sounds stupid Fellgall, but why would one want to protect web content? Is it that some would destroy your content?Or alter it in some way?Just picking your brain. :)

Some people are under the mistaken impression that they can somehow apply "protection" to their web page to stop people from stealing their images and text. Some companies sell software for up to $200 that mistakenly claims to be able to do this. The only affect that such "protection" has is to make the page unusable to around 10-15% of visitors while anyone who knows how can still obtain a complete decrypted copy of the page in about 10 seconds. Anyone who applies such protections probably doesn't have anything on their site that is worth stealing. I don't like the thought of such web amateurs being conned into paying money for something that doesn't work and so I wrote a series of pages that can be used to aplly all of the protections that such pages use plus a few extras that I thought up which anyone who wants to drive visitors away can use instead of paying money to do so. The completely useless "no right click" script is one of the most searched for scripts on my Javascript site.
