Please please please, can someone ban munneepenee?

Before you say that you can't find a specific rule that he's broken, from the acceptable use policy:You will not behave in a [...] hateful manner, and will not harrass [...] anyone.I'd would say deliberately poor posts purely out of disrespect for other forum members violates this.

The quality of the forums is definitely lowered by muneepenee's gibberish.

I understand how you feel gentlemen, the blatant disrespect for a language I'm quite fond of, bothers me too. But I think in this case making use of the ignore feature the forum offers would be the best solution.

I say we just brand crap like muneepenee's as spam for the future. We've had a bunch of people lately that just post utter gibberish.

EDIT:

It's not just the fact that it's gibberish though JP. It's pointless gibberish. Pointless gibberish that even those that are fluent in English have great difficult in deciphering. How on earth is it supposed to be helpful to anyone that is not fluent in English? And what does it say about the standard of the quality of this forum if we allow crap like this?

I will ask that he begin posting in recognizable english.

Go for a ban. He is unlikely to change, just look at his personal site.
For someone who purports to be a former programmer (http://siteownersforums.com/member.php?find=lastposter&t=6398), his quality of scripting is appalling.

The quality of the forums is definitely lowered by muneepenee's gibberish.I've come to think that it's not gibberish. There's method to muneepenee's madness. And it is an evil madness that must be stopped. From the web site it would seem the he or she is on a one child campaign to purify the English language. I'm reminded of Lyndon LaRuche's campaign to change the frequency of A below middle C to 400 hz. because that's what God intended. And I'm reminded of Mr. Hitler's campaign to purify the "master race". The posts are an intentional assault upon the language that so many of us hold dear. And we love it so not just because we started learning it as we lay upon our mother's breast but because of it's richness and complexity. We read Shakespeare and we marvel the the language was once even more rich and complex. We love every irregular verb. We stand fast against the current assault against the beloved Passive Voice. We hear in it the voices of the ancients, the Germans, the Romans, the French, the Danes all of whom have left their mark. We hear the influence of the scholars and Divines who fell in love with Koine Greek. And we celebrate the rich tapestry that it has become setting root in so many corners of the world.

If muneepenee wants a pure language, pure and simple and dead, turn to Esperanto.

Wow, Charles, that was a pretty riveting post. Ya had me all the way through.

I see what you guys mean! Even I have trouble reading his posts, and I can read my own handwriting! I think my biggest peeve is spelling. I have a friend who's learning English as a second language. His grammar tends to be rather strange at times, but at least his spelling is acceptable.

muneepenee's spelling is simply ridiculous.

I see. Well, I guess if I were an administrator, I'd give him a week to reply. Then again, it ain't my name that's in a bold, italic font. *Slight grin*

He* most-probably saw it unless he* has JavaScript disabled and never checks his* PMs.
He's* been posting like he* never saw any of your messages. e.g.
http://webdeveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?p=440007#post440007

He* is breaking the AUP by posting knowingly false code by mispelling everything from "funkshun" to "kaller"...

Heck, how can he* mispell so many JavaScript keywords? Even if he* knew absolutely-nothing about english and had to communicate in Spanish for example, He* would need to first see if it the code will work regardless his or her native language.

Change to feminine and I apologize if applicable*

My 2 cents' worth:
They just don't give a *+s# about the purpose of a forum.
All we get is wacky, juvenile Agena-Pushing...
from planet Xerces, or something.

It's hard enough getting the time to visit here w/out having to slog through
m-pee's methodical madness!
