Currently there are a few Rich Internet Application (RIA) Platforms available Flex, Ajax and Laszlo.
What is the general opinion on RIA's? Overall which one is the best RIA Platform? I don't have a particular application In mind just yet. I'm just interested in the technology.
Thanks,

Well if you mean what I think you mean, FLEX is a lexical analyser and as far as I know, doesn't really have much to do with the web specifically; Ajax is yet another pointless and stupid name for Javascript; and Laszlo, I've never heard of.
Personally, when people start using these kinds of words at me, I feel the best practice is to slap them and to ask them to stop trying to impress me by dressing up simple tasks and applications in poinless buzzwords, and just tell me what they really mean and what they reallywant to do.
Example:
"I'm going to leverage Ajax to give us a realtime dataflow representation."
*slap*.... "Say what?"
"I'm going to alter the table with Javascript."
"Good man."

Hi ,
I was just looking for something simpler than flex,
I came across this on net, named "OpenMacro"
Its a framework for developing RIAs based on Flash.
looks good though.
