How do I change the color of the I-Beam.

Is there a way to change the color of the I-Beam (blinking marker)?

Thanks Dave for the other aka names. Do you know how I can change the color of the I-Beam, aka caret, blinking text cursor?

You cannot change the color, but you can change the actual cursor, so say crosshair or an arrow, pointing in whichever direction.
