I was wundering if it was possible to make a page refresh only when the content of that page is changed? I can do php or javascript! Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks. :D

Why not just have it refresh every few seconds?
To use Java to accomplish the task, would require Java server extensions.

By the way, why is it set up so that you can't use it without JavaScript? Is that intentional?

I don't know if this is possible by any means, im just throwing around ideas, but:

If you were to make a .txt page that you would modify every time there is a change to the site, with the page name, and have some javascript code that periodicly opened this file, and checked to see if the page name was the same as the current one, and refresh, otherwise leave it alone.
THEN have another script on a cron job that periodicly deleted all the content in your little .txt file??
