Hi, thanks for your wonderful posts in the past, they were very helpful.
Now I wanted to know how I can create live video to stream on our website. We have our own server, but I don't know the steps or the process to create the video or encoding or anything. Please help!!!!! If you can provide a tutorial or something that would be great. Thanks. Oh and I prefer to use windows media player, but it is not detrimintal that I use it. I only prefer. But if something is easier but provides great quality I am all for it. Thanks again!

Hi qgibbs, now you have some free solution like this one www.dacast.com. You can put the player easily on your website and stream what you want with a webcam.

You can either consider upload your video to a video sharing website and then get the embedding code, or download a website video software (http://video.a4desk.com), which can convert your video from AVI, MPG, or MOV into FLV format (Flash video), and then let you choose a video player for embedding to your existing web page (without coding as they will generate the code for you to copy and paste).

You would need FTP access to your server if you prefer to host the video file on your own server.

I use ustream (http://www.ustream.tv/), it has video and chat that you can embed in your html.

If you wish to use WM then a windows streaming server would be needed for live streaming MMS
