Well, wikipedia to the rescue, Sodoku (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodoku). I used to do them more, not so much now. When I get on the subway or the ferry or such, I'd take one out.

Not to say I was good at them. I had to carry extra erasers doing them. But they were kewl.

Sudoku is a puzzle where you have to fit the numbers 1-9 in a 9x9 grid with out putting it in the same row or colum or box more than once...

I have done some sudoku puzzles in the past, not too much though. I have to disagre with you about the calming effect, spinnyscripter. I get frustrated when I can't figure them out and start shouting at the computer. I do like it though. (Odd, isn't it?)

Well, no, not as such. It's just...after I'm done shouting, and I sit down and figure the stupid puzzle out, then I feel really smart. I guess that's why I like it. :)

I guess so. Yeah, I just about had a heart attack the first time I heard about the Hitchhiker's Guide movie coming out. And then waiting for it actually did almost kill me. Now I'm just waiting for the rest of the Red Dwarf DVD's to be released. And of course THAT movie...I could go on for ever...

Gasp! First you don't know what Sudoku is, and now Red Dwarf?
Red Dwarf is a British comedy/scifi show. It's really funny, if you like that sort of thing, which I happen to.

oh...that's what I meant by "haha!". I meant, "no, no, why do you say such horrible things?" You have to read between the lines. Or laughs. Or something.

Miniclip has a Sudoku (http://www.miniclip.com/sudoku/sudoku.htm) Flash game. I tried it a while back and was instantly bored.

Thats Because it's better to play it on paper not on the pc...

Example....

Computer: Click 9 Click 1 Click 4 Click 3 Click 2 etc.......
Paper: Scribble Scribble 8 Scribble Scribble 2 Scribble Scribble 6 etc.......

Scribble = working out

Hmm...I don't see how that's different. Although, I know for me, it's easier for me to think when I have something solid actually in my hands, rather than just staring at a screen. So I guess that might make sense...

Perhaps it'd be alright on long roadtrips when I have nothing better to do, but otherwise it's not for me.

Well, that depends on how long the trip is and how good of a battery you have!
