link to aim room

Is there any way to link to an aol messenger chat room? i didn't know if maybe it were some sort of variation of the script that message boards use for the "aim" icon on people's profiles. any help would be appreciated.

Probably possible, but only with Java (not Javascript). A simple link like at forums might do the trick, but would probably only work if the actual program was installed on the computer. (Yahoo has this, too, as a Java Messenger, but it only works if the Yahoo Messaging program is installed on the computer).
