Hi all;

I am building an educational website and having a newsletter which comes out every 14 days. So I am wondering if there are any laws which say that you cannot collect personal information for young people.

Thanks

PS. The website is aimed at Key stage 3 all the way to GCSE. The information that would be needed is the Firstname, Last name, Date of Birth, email address.

Depends on the information and what countries the people are living in.

The age tends to be 13 for all general use.

Thanks for that, in my privacy policy do i need to state that the information will be stored (Firstname, Last name, Date of Birth, email address.)

Thanks so far though :)

well, you can have a checkbox that says, "I certify that i have the permission from my parents,etc.." if you are under 13
