Hi,

This is my first post here and I register hoping there will some forum for ColdFusion but there is none.

Since my field is ColdFusion related it will be great to have a forum on coldfusion...

Cheers,
Amit Patel

Hi Amit...

well... i am sorry that you don't feel "represented" in this forum because of it's lack of a specific ColdFusion forum...

but quite seriously... ColdFusion is an app - like Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Flash, PhotoShop, etc, etc, etc - and none of those apps have a specific forum either.

ultimately it's not the app itself.... but what you do with it... that consitutes the basis for the forums that do exist here.

i would guess  that there are more than a few ColdFusion users who ask and answer questions in the existing forums.

ColdFusion is a very diverse app that touches on many areas of web development. So...
if your question is strictly app-related... i'd try the General forum.
if your question is related to XML, ASP, Javascript, etc... post it in it's respective forum.

i'll guess that you will get plenty of help and insight from using this forum... so try not to get hung-up on the fact that there is no dedicated ColdFusion forum.

and... as they like to say here...
"that's my 2 cents"
;) k

Just to add... While ColdFusion is the app, there is also CFML, which is the language. I'm guessing that that is what you are looking for help on? If so, this would probably be a good place to look: http://webforums.macromedia.com/coldfusion/categories.cfm?catid=3

ThanX mate. I been to this site and found that some time it takes ages to get answers mainly because there are very few people online.

But at the moment this is the best site for my use....

Thanks a lot mate.
