I have been working for hours on this problem. I am trying to load an applet that was downloaded from Sun's website (because I can't get my own to work) and I keep getting this message. I have upgraded to the latest version from Sun (and based on their test it worked) tested with this website http://www.gvsi.com/javatest/checklist.asp and everything was fine there. I went into IE tools-options-advanced and unchecked the Java box. I have seen where someone suggested to check the three boxes under Microsoft VM, but it is not an option for me. I am using IE 6.0 on XP-Home Edition. Any help would be appreciated. If you need more info, let me know. Thanks.
